Product Description:
It is indicated in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over:
- To reduce swelling of the nasal mucosa in rhinitis and to stimulate healing of the nasal mucosa, for the treatment of paroxysmal rhinorrhea (vasomotor rhinitis) and nasal obstruction after nose surgery.
- To reduce swelling of the nasal mucosa in rhinitis associated with acute inflammation of the paranasal sinuses (rhinosinusitis).
Active substances:
1 ml of solution contains 1.0 mg of xylometazoline hydrochloride and 50.0 mg of dexpanthenol.
Xylometazoline hydrochloride has vasoconstrictor properties thus reducing mucosal swelling. Dexpanthenol is a derivative of pantothenic acid, a vitamin whose properties promote wound healing and protect the mucosa.
Dosage and method of administration:
Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over:
One spray in each nostril as needed, but up to a maximum of 3 times per day.
Vibrocil ActilongProtect should not be used for more than 7 consecutive days, unless medically recommended.
